Integrating Economic and Sustainable Practices into Electrical Machine Education
Integrating economic and sustainability aspects into electrical machine education is essential for comprehensive engineering training, aligning with industry demands, fostering innovation, and promoting environmental responsibility. This paper emphasizes the need to incorporate both economic and sustainability considerations into electrical machine curricula. It outlines key theoretical foundations and focuses on three core aspects: design, manufacturing, and lifelong operation. A case study demonstrates the impact of sustainable practices in reducing carbon dioxide emissions, highlighting the practical benefits of this integrated approach.
