Research on the Application of Blended Teaching from the Constructivist Perspective: A Case of the course "Introduction to Urban and Rural Planning"
In the era of the digital economy, significant changes have taken place in the teaching philosophy, roles of teachers and students, and teaching modes in university classrooms. The "student-centered" learning paradigm advocated by constructivist theory, particularly the blended teaching model derived from it, has gained attention in the current reform of teaching models in higher education. Based on constructivist theory, this paper takes the "Introduction to Urban and Rural Planning" course at Jinan University as an example to analyze the specific application and effectiveness of the blended teaching model. The research found that the blended learning model enhanced students' learning outcomes by integrating online and offline resources, revealing that digital transformation in education requires more than technological tools, but a holistic approach to pedagogical innovation. The study offers a replicable framework for digital educational transformation.
