Upscaling Perovskite Module Development

Upscaling of perovskite module technology is the next step for commercialization of this promising new thin film PV technology. We present important steps along the transition from lab scale processing to flexible R2R slot-die coating of cells and modules. ZSW is setting up a pre-pilot line with 30 cm width for single junction perovskite modules on glass and flexible substrates and can share insights into development steps for green solvent development and slot die processing of all stack layers.

Abstract

Upscaling of perovskite module technology is the next step for commercialization of this promising new thin film PV technology. We present important steps along the transition from lab scale processing to flexible R2R slot-die coating of cells and modules. ZSW is setting up a pre-pilot line with 30 cm width for single junction perovskite modules on glass and flexible substrates and can share insights into development steps for green solvent development and slot die processing of all stack layers.
