Development of High-Stability Perovskite Quantum Dot Semi-Transparent Solar Cells
This study successfully developed a highly stable perovskite quantum dot (PQD) semi-transparent solar cell, focusing on the hot-injection synthesis of quantum dots, uniformity control in blade coating, and the optimized design of the MgF2 moisture and gas barrier layer. The results demonstrated that the developed PQD semi-transparent solar cell achieved a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 12.85%. When paired with an MgF2 barrier layer, the device structure, comprising FTO/c-TiO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>/CsPbI<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf>-QDs/Spiro-OMeTAD/MoOx/ITO/MgF<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>/Au, exhibited excellent stability under ambient conditions. After 100 hours of aging tests in the atmosphere, the conversion efficiency decreased from 12.52% to 12.1%, maintaining 96% of its initial conversion efficiency.
