Factores de la educación virtual en estudiantes de ingeniería de una universidad pública en tiempos de pandemia.

The objective of this study is to identify the factors influencing virtual education during the Covid-19 pandemic. A substantive-type investigation was conducted, at a descriptive-explanatory level, using a non-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 137 second-year engineering students enrolled during the 2021-II semester at a public university. A non-probabilistic convenience sampling method was applied. A Likert scale was used as the instrument to measure the factors involved in virtual education. The instrument demonstrated high reliability, with a coefficient of 0.825, and strong validity based on expert judgment. The study examined motivational, social, emotional, and technological factors, all of which had a favorable impact on virtual education, with an overall positive influence of 82.48%. Each category of factors also showed a similarly favorable percentage of influence.
