Prediction of the isothermal evaporation experiment of actual salt lake brine at 25 ℃ utilizing the extended UNIQUAC model
In the realm of salt lake resource research, 25°C stands out as the preponderantly adopted temperature for isothermal evaporation experiments. Expediting the exploration of its experimental procedures holds profound implications for the efficacious development and utilization of salt lake resources. This acceleration not only curtails the experimental duration but also mitigates the associated costs. The extended UNIQUAC model, distinguished by its relatively diminutive calculation deviations, operational simplicity and celerity, as well as a broad temperature adaptability spectrum, emerges as a potent tool. It is competent in forecasting the isothermal evaporation experiments of brine within its delimited model range. Within the purview of this paper, the brine sourced from Laguocuo Salt Lake is designated as the investigative focus, with an in-depth simulation and prediction study centered around the 25°C isothermal evaporation experiment being conducted. Through a meticulous comparison with the actual experimental outcomes, it becomes manifest that the predicted values exhibit a fundamental congruence with the experimental counterparts, and the evaporation route tendencies of both align harmoniously. This concordance unequivocally attests that the extended UNIQUAC model is capable of furnishing theoretical underpinnings for the blueprinting of comprehensive development and utilization schemes concerning the brine.
