Estado do conhecimento:

This article is a bibliographic survey, of the state of knowledge type, which aimed to categorize research on the teaching work of literacy teachers. The time frame used to search for works for this study covers the years 2010 to 2021. The research catalogs of IBICT and CAPES, and the proceedings of ANPED and ABAlf were used as databases. From the survey conducted, it is noted that there is a low scientific production that addresses as its central theme the issues related to the work of literacy teachers beyond the didactic and pedagogical dimensions. This finding validates the necessity and contribution that the research brings to the scientific field, since work is seen as a fundamental category for understanding the socially established relationships, as well as teaching work as a central category for understanding the relationships that permeate work in the school environment constituted from multiple historical, social, economic, and political elements.
