ELEMENTOS PARA FUNDAMENTAÇÃO DE UMA ESTÉTICA MARXISTA DIRECIONADA AO ESTUDO DA FICÇÃO CIENTÍFICA
This article aims to present initial elements to support a Marxist aesthetic aimed at the study of science fiction, especially with regard to the most widespread expressions of this genre today, namely: cinematographic and audiovisual arts. It indicates the need for ontological criticism of the genre, seeking foundation in the Marxist framework, more specifically in the works of Ernst Fischer and György Lukács. It concludes by problematizing utopia in Fredric Jameson, seeking to expand this discussion to science fiction, a genre in which we are often led to reflect that the true ontological falsification is not within the limits of the imagination, but rather in the metaphysical separation between material and civilizational development.
