The well-posedness of an impedance passive nonlinear system with a static monotone feedback operator

We provide a framework for the well-posedness of a feedback system obtained by closing a feedback loop around an incrementally impedance passive, possibly nonlinear system. The static feedback operator is assumed to be maximal monotone. Our approach uses the theory of maximal monotone operators and Lax-Phillips type nonlinear semigroups.

Abstract

We provide a framework for the well-posedness of a feedback system obtained by closing a feedback loop around an incrementally impedance passive, possibly nonlinear system. The static feedback operator is assumed to be maximal monotone. Our approach uses the theory of maximal monotone operators and Lax-Phillips type nonlinear semigroups.
