Unraveling the genetic basis of metabolic traits and benign adrenal tumors: a comprehensive causal analysis
Using Mendelian genetic research methods, this study provides evidence that elevated levels of C-reactive protein may serve as a crucial mediating factor in BMI-induced benign adrenal tumors. Therefore, clinicians should pay particular attention to monitoring and managing levels of C-reactive protein when dealing with obese patients, to more effectively prevent the development of adrenal tumors.
