(wl-1303)-Inked at 31: My First Vote in Kashmir's Lok Sabha Elections
This article reflects my personal journey as a first-time voter at the age of 31 in the 2024 Kashmir Lok Sabha elections. After years of disengagement due to political disillusionment, I felt a renewed sense of responsibility and purpose in casting my vote. Voting became symbolic of reclaiming my voice as a citizen and contributed to a larger conversation about Kashmir’s future. The experience was deeply emotional, tied to memories of growing up in a conflict zone, and reshaped my understanding of peace, hope, and democratic participation.
