New Hesperiidae Additions to the Papilionoidea Fauna of Arunachal Pradesh, India (Insecta: Lepidoptera)
This study reports the discovery of two butterfly species from the Hesperiidae family in Arunachal Pradesh, India, which had not been previously recorded in the region. The species, Pirdana major Evans (1932) and Satarupa gopala Gopala Moore ([1866]), were documented in Lohit and Leparada districts of Arunachal Pradesh. These findings contribute important additions to the butterfly fauna of Arunachal Pradesh and highlight the need to continue exploring and conserving the region′s rich lepidopteran fauna.
