Research on the Design of Automotive Virtual Matching System Based on Embodied Cognition Theory

In order to improve user experience and immersion, based on embodied cognition theory, the relationship between human-behavior-environment is explored and in-depth discussion of the design strategy and application of automotive virtual option system is conducted. This paper analyzes the current situation of virtual interaction design and discusses the significance of the application of embodied cognition theory to virtual interaction design. It studies the experience and cognitive behavior of users interacting with the car selection system, draws the user journey map, finds the user pain points, analyzes the user needs, and puts forward the system design requirements. Combined with the design dimensions of the car selection system, it puts forward the design strategy of the car selection system based on embodied cognition from the three aspects of the functional purpose layer, the interaction behavior layer, and the emotional expression layer. We also constructed a car selection system of a certain brand using UE software, and finally conducted experiments using eye-tracking instruments and questionnaires to verify the effectiveness of the design method. In this paper, we innovatively combine embodied cognition theory with the car selection system, and design an automobile virtual selection system aiming to improve user experience and interaction experience, so as to enhance consumers' car purchase satisfaction and decision-making efficiency.
