Research on carbon emission trading system based on consortium blockchain

As the issues of global warming and excessive carbon emissions become increasingly prominent, carbon trading has gradually garnered widespread attention from governments and enterprises worldwide. In recent years, China has also been actively constructing a carbon emission trading market and has achieved some results. However, certain problems still persist. The emergence of blockchain technology provides new avenues for addressing these issues. Blockchain technology offers advantages such as immutability, decentralization, openness, providing foundational technical support for the standardized operation of the carbon market. This paper aims to study the application of blockchain technology in carbon emission trading and propose corresponding solutions.
