Design of a Niagara-based Moschus berezovskii breeding management system with Voice Control Capabilities

Moschus berezovskii is a National First-class Protected Animal, and its secretion of musk is a valuable traditional Chinese medicine with high medicinal and economic value. However, traditional artificial Moschus berezovskii breeding relies on empirical management, and there are problems such as frequent occurrence of diseases resulting in low production efficiency . In recent years, Internet of Things (IoT) technology has been widely utilized in animal husbandry, and its application in animal husbandry provides a new technical route for the intelligent transformation of Moschus berezovskii breeding. In this paper, a set of intelligent Moschus berezovskii breeding management system with voice control capability based on Niagara framework is designed and realized by combining the current situation of forest musk breeding in Feng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. For the first time, the system combines the hardware of voice interaction control with Niagara framework, monitors the environmental parameters of the enclosure in real time through multiple sensors, and utilizes the edge calculator and voice controller to control the operation of the equipment collaboratively, which realizes the functions of accurate monitoring of the environment of the enclosure as well as the automatic adjustment of the environmental parameters in the enclosure. The simulated data show that the system significantly improves the accuracy of the user's monitoring of the environmental data of the enclosure, makes the daily feeding of Moschus berezovskii more convenient, and provides a technical route for the digital transformation of the breeding of Muschus berezovskii.
