BILA: The Reflex Bitstream Programming Language (Core 1.0) Extending Reflex Machines into CVNSS4.0 for Small language models (SLMs) and IoT Applications

This paper presents BILA Core 1.0, a 16-bit reflex machine architecture and bitstream programming language optimized for real-time, resourceconstrained microcontrollers (MCUs). The design integrates CVNSS4.0 (Concurrent Vietnamese Script System for Industry 4.0), introducing a binary-Morse mapping (dot = 0, dash = 1) and a Huffman-root tree for instruction-length reduction. On an ESP32 co-processor, BILA achieves a 12.5% reduction in instruction size and a 40% speed-up over a Forth interpreter, while preserving deterministic sub-microsecond latency. These results establish BILA as both a reflex-machine standard and a linguistic bridge, enabling applications from IoT to blockchain, banking throughput, and Vietnamese NLP with small LLMs.
