RETHINKING NATIONAL SECURITY: A COMPREHENSIVE FRAMEWORK FOR RESILIENCE IN A GLOBALIZED ECONOMY
This study broadens the scope of national security assessment by integrating modern economic metrics such as intangible assets valuation, human capital investment, financial resilience, and cybersecurity alongside traditional factors like resources, economy, and armed forces. These additions provide a multidimensional framework capturing contemporary risks and opportunities, offering a forwardlooking national security index. Our findings reveal diverse pathways to resilience, with examples ranging from Russia's energy infrastructure, China's technological advancements, India's digital economy growth, and Brazil's natural resource management to Estonia's cybersecurity model.
