CONSTRUCTION OF WAVELET-PACKET DECOMPOSITION TREE WHEN CORRECTING RADIOMETRIC NOISE IN IMAGES

The paper considers an algorithm for constructing an optimal tree for wavelet-packet decomposition of satellite images in the problem of correcting structural radiometric noise. A criterion for the «compactness» of images is proposed, according to which a decision is made on the further direction of wavelet decomposition. Features of constructing a decision tree for satellite images are considered.
