AN INVESTIGATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE MUSIC ON HUMAN EMOTIONS BASED ON FACIAL MICRO-EXPRESSION ANALYSIS

The problem of the creation of facial micro-expression datasets and different approaches to its solution are considered. A brief theoretical overview of existing investigations of the influence of the music on human emotions is represented. The selection of music as an emotional stimulus for carrying out an experimental investigation is justified. The goal of the investigation was the assessment of the possibility of the creation of the facial micro-expression datasets using musical stimuli. The main stages of the experiment on the creation of the image sequences with the facial micro-expressions arising while listening to the selected musical excerpts using the high-speed camera are described. The analysis of the experimental results confirmed the influence of the music on human emotions manifesting in the form of facial macro-expressions and micro-expressions.
