SAR REMOTE SENSING SATELLITE ATTITUDE ESTIMATION BASED ON IMAGERY AMPLITUDE ANALYSIS
. The paper proposes two methods for SAR remote sensing satellite attitude based on imagery amplitude analysis. The first method is intended to refine the yaw and pitch angles using the Doppler centroid values obtained by amplitude analysis of two radar images synthesized from raw data in subapertures. The second method is intended to refine the roll angle using the position of the antenna elevation pattern maximum obtained by statistical amplitude-differential analysis of the radar image during its radiometric correction. The results of experimental study of proposed methods’ efficiency are presented.
