DETERMINATION OF STATIC AND DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ADC BASED ON THE IEEE 1241 STANDARD
Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) are among the most common components of measurement technology, and their verification is a well-known and complex problem. To determine the static characteristics of ADCs according to IEEE 1241 standard, a high-precision signal source is required to form a triangular or sinusoidal test signal, while to determine the dynamic characteristics of ADCs, as a rule, a single-tone sinusoidal signal source is required, with signal-to-noise ratio and harmonic distortion coefficient 10 times better than the tested ADC.
