MODIFICATED TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEME OF INTERFEROMETRIC PROCESSING OF INFORMATION FROM SAR SYSTEMS FOR EARTH OBSERVATION WITH THE USE OF LOW-DETAIL STEREOPHOTOGRAMMETRIC INFORMATION
The paper considers the problem of interferometric processing of information from spaceborne radar systems for Earth observation in order to generate digital elevation models. The possibility of using low-detail stereophotogrammetric information to improve the accuracy of interferometric processing is analyzed. New operations for correcting atmospheric distortions, additional noise filtration, and rejecting areas with signal overlap and radio shadow areas are added to the classical technological scheme of interferometry. The results of experimental studies illustrating the improvement in the accuracy of the generated digital elevation models are presented.
