METHOD OF CONTACTLESS REGISTRATION OF HUMAN HEARTBEAT AND BREATHING PROCESSES USING WEB CAMERAS AND VIRTUAL DEVICES IN THE MATLAB ENVIRONMENT

A polygraphic method of contactless recording of physiological processes of heartbeat and respiration of a patient and its implementation based on two webcams, a personal computer and software in the form of virtual devices in the MATLAB environment are proposed. The main stages of the system operation algorithm are considered, allowing continuous recording of video streams of images of the patient's face and chest, extracting informative parameters from them, forming oscillograms and intervalograms of heartbeat and respiration signals, and evaluating diagnostic indicators indicating dangerous changes in biorhythms.
