METHODS OF GENERATING FLIGHT MISSIONS FOR UAVS: FROM PLANNING TO PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION

The article focuses on modern methods of generating flight missions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), emphasizing their applied use in infrastructure monitoring tasks. Key stages of route design, adaptation to external conditions, and integration of specialized equipment are discussed. Using the example of a pipeline leak detection system with UAVs equipped with thermal imaging cameras, the principles of automation and process optimization are demonstrated. Special attention is given to the development of a web interface for interactive mission planning. Testing results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.

Abstract

The article focuses on modern methods of generating flight missions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), emphasizing their applied use in infrastructure monitoring tasks. Key stages of route design, adaptation to external conditions, and integration of specialized equipment are discussed. Using the example of a pipeline leak detection system with UAVs equipped with thermal imaging cameras, the principles of automation and process optimization are demonstrated. Special attention is given to the development of a web interface for interactive mission planning. Testing results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
