Alleviation of the effect of salinity on pomegranate seedlings by priming foliar spray of chitosan-silicon nanoparticles (CTS-SiO2 NPs)
Therefore, it seems that the application of CTS-SiO2 NPs could be considered as an effective method to reduce the negative effects of salt stress on pomegranate. This study represents one of the early scientific investigations demonstrating the synergistic potential of CTS-SiO2 nanoparticles in boosting pomegranate tolerance to salinity stress, highlighting its novelty while acknowledging that further research is needed for definitive confirmation.
