Influencia de la estimulación propioceptiva en el desarrollo de la coordinación motora gruesa en niños de educación inicial

This study analyzes the influence of proprioceptive stimulation on the development of gross motor coordination in early childhood education, using a qualitative and interpretative phenomenological approach. The research involved 34 children and one teacher, applying a structured observation checklist to assess specific categories of motor development. Findings reveal that proprioceptive stimulation significantly improves balance, foot-eye coordination, locomotion, and jumping skills, although challenges remain in object reception and alternating jumps. Implementing playful activities with proprioceptive components enhances postural control, movement synchronization, and body confidence. It is concluded that the systematic integration of this strategy into the early childhood curriculum is a key resource to strengthen motor skills during childhood.
