DEVELOPMENT OF A UV RADIATION SOURCE BASED ON A SEMICONDUCTOR HETEROSTRUCTURE

In this paper, we consider quantum well-based radiators, their advantages, characteristics, and applications. The physical effects occurring in semiconductor heterostructures are analyzed in detail. The main parameters affecting the efficiency of quantum well radiators have been determined. Special attention is paid to LEDs based on quantum wells and the prospects of their application.
