STUDY OF STRUCTURAL-GROUP COMPOSITION OF KEROSENE-GAS OIL FRACTIONS FOR USE AS WORKING FLUID IN ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING OF MATERIALS
Manufacturing of parts with complex surfaces, application of difficult-to-machine materials, requirements for the quality of the product surface have currently led to an increase in the use of electrical discharge machining (EDM) technology. In this paper, studies of kerosene-gas oil fractions were conducted for the purpose of using them as working fluids (WF) in EDM processes. Calculations of the structural-group composition were performed and physicochemical indicators of narrow fractions were determined, recommendations were given for the use of individual fractions in various types of EDM.
