Outcomes and Predictors of Cure After Reoperation for Persistent and Recurrent Hyperparathyroidism: A Cohort Study in Saudi Arabia

Reoperation for persistent or recurrent hyperparathyroidism was associated with durable cure in approximately four of five patients and acceptable morbidity. Cure was more likely in patients with recurrent disease, positive preoperative localization, and adenoma pathology, underscoring the importance of comprehensive imaging and specialized surgical expertise.
