Statut Międzynarodowego Trybunału Karnego a zbrodnia agresji
In order to present the contemporary work of the United Nations (UN), which decided to establish the International Criminal Court (ICC), the work takes into account the activities of the UN Security Council (UNSC) and the ICC, taking into account current considerations and solutions adopted in the law. The fact that the ICC Statute includes a definition of the crime of aggression is also taken into account. The issues of the object, subject, subjective and objective side are considered. The fact that the UN also draws attention to the issues of peace, security and global justice is taken into account. This article considers in particular the need to enforce responsibility for the crime of aggression, although the UNSC should deal with this matter first. In conclusion, one can recognize the existing impotence of states in the activities of the SC in its current composition.
