Complete genomes of the hydrogenotrophic methanogen species —Methanospirillum stamsii Pt1 and Methanospirillum lacunae Ki8-1
Methanospirillum species grow within sheaths containing 1-50 or more cells and often in association with syntrophic bacteria that together metabolize a variety of aliphatic and aromatic compounds. Here, we report the complete genomes of Methanospirillum stamsii Pt1 and Methanospirillum lacunae Ki8-1.
