One year monitoring of calcium release from an experimental composite containing calcium phosphate particles

The tested composite was capable of sustained Ca2+ release in water for 1 year. In spite of the limitations of this screening test, the results suggest that composites containing Calcium phosphate (CaP) particles could offer a long-term Ca2+ supply to the adjacent dental tissues.

Abstract

The tested composite was capable of sustained Ca2+ release in water for 1 year. In spite of the limitations of this screening test, the results suggest that composites containing Calcium phosphate (CaP) particles could offer a long-term Ca2+ supply to the adjacent dental tissues.
