Artificial Intelligence in Investment Decision Making and Portfolio Management

The global financial services sector is changing due to artificial intelligence (AI), especially in the areas of portfolio management and investment decision-making.AI is changing how institutions and investors approach trading, risk management, and asset allocation by analysing large datasets, finding patterns, and making predictions in real time. This study examines how AI can be used to manage portfolios and make investment decisions, emphasising the main advantages, difficulties, and potential paths forward. In order to interpret how AI influences financial performance, the analysis goes beyond theory and includes case studies, market trends, and comparative frameworks.Although AI-driven systems are more accurate, faster, and more efficient, there are risks associated with data security, bias, and regulatory oversight. The study comes to the conclusion that while AI can greatly facilitate better financial decisions, its successful application requires a careful balance between automation and human judgement.
