Curved Ribbon in Speyer

The city of Speyer, with approximately 50,000 inhabitants, is a medium-sized center within the Rhine-Neckar triangle. The southern part of the city is bisected by the heavily trafficked federal highway).

As part of the idea’s competition, the goal was to meet the population's desire for a connection between the Vogelgesang district—located south of the busy B39—and the city center. The structure is intended to provide a barrier-free crossing over the B39 and connect the new development area “Am Priesterseminar” with local amenities in the “Normand” neighbourhood.
