Copper-based metal–organic frameworks as highly efficient catalysts for the biomimetic catalytic synthesis of theaflavins

Construction of a Cu-based metal–organic framework using a solvothermal method. First investigation of Cu-MOFs for biomimetic catalyzed oxidation of catechins to synthesize TFs. Cu-BTC has excellent catalytic activity and thermal stability.
