THE EFFECTIVENESS OF VISUAL DISCOURSE IN THE WORKS OF POTTER STEVE HANSEN

The current research (The Effectiveness of Visual Discourse in the Works of Potter Steve Hansen) included an attempt to study and understand the effectiveness of visual discourse in the experience of the potter (Steve Hansen) in all its cognitive, social and artistic aspects and dimensions as a visual discourse that constitutes an artistic language with connotations and meanings placed within a purposeful structural framework that establishes an effectiveness that is transmitted to a recipient who interprets and interprets its meaning according to his cognitive references.Therefore, the current research study sought to investigate this discourse and identify its aesthetic effectiveness.Based on the nature of studying the subject, the research was divided into four chapters.The first chapter included the research problem, its importance, the need for it and the research objective (identifying the effectiveness of visual discourse in the works of potter Steve Hansen).The chapter also included the time limits for the period from(2005-2020) for contemporary ceramic works, and the chapter was concerned with defining the most important research terms.The second chapter consisted of two sections, the first section included (the effectiveness of discourse in art), while the second section included two axes, the first axis included (the formal transformation in contemporary American art), and the second axis included (the mechanisms of employing discourse in the potter Stephen Hans).The chapter ended with indicators of the theoretical framework and previous studies.The third chapter included the research procedures, as it included the framework of the research community, which amounted to(50) models, from which a sample was extracted intentionally, amounting to(4) models for the sample that covered the limits of the research by adopting the descriptive analytical approach to analyze the research sample and achieve its goal.The fourth chapter included the results, their discussion, the research conclusions, recommendations and suggestions, which came to express ideas and contents based on identifying the aesthetic effectiveness in the visual discourse of the potter's experience (Stephen Hans).
