Starting from the 2023 Banyumas Regency GRDP data which shows the amount of contribution of the agricultural sector and an increasing trend every year, however, the amount of growth of this sector is smaller than other sectors in the top five. This is certainly very contradictory considering that Banyumas Regency has a comparative advantage in the form of a landscape and climate that greatly supports agricultural sector activities. For this reason, a development strategy is needed in the form of selecting leading products to increase productivity. This study aims to determine leading products in each sub-district and to map leading products in the agricultural sector in Banyumas Regency. The study was conducted using overlay analysis to determine leading products by combining the results of location quotient analysis, growth ratio models and shift-share analysis supported by contribution analysis and Klassen typology. The results of this study show the distribution of leading products in each sub-district in Banyumas Regency which are mapped using a geographic information system (GIS).
