Flexible triple band antenna for wireless application
A triple band flexible antenna for wireless applications is presented in this article. This is square-shaped primary antenna that works in the WLAN band is employed. Triple band response is provided via additional symmetric slots and a rectangle patch construction inserted in the square patch. Due to the folding shape, the proposed frequency flexible antenna can offer numerous resonances. This antenna is printed on a 32×40 mm2sheet and used FR-4 substrate having 1.60 mm thickness. It is a large bandwidth and covers the WLAN band and C-band with VSWR<2. The primary antenna's measured and simulated results are proven, and they correlate well.
