Development of a 105μm fiber output 60W nanosecond green solid-state laser
A nanosecond green solid-state laser with fiber output has been developed to meet the application requirements of water guided laser cutting. The laser adopts a dual Nd:YAG crystal five directional four side pumping module, acousto-optic Q-switching, and LBO crystal type II phase matching intracavity frequency doubling structure. Add a diaphragm to the cavity for transverse mode control, achieving a 532nm pulsed green laser output with a repetition rate of 10kHz, power of 60.6W, pulse width of 92ns, and beam quality M2=6.1×5.2. Adopting a single lens coupling structure, a 5mm quartz end cap is fused onto the fiber end face and coated with a 532nm laser anti reflection coating to reduce the risk of damage to the energy transmission fiber. Successfully developed a 105μm fiber output 60W nanosecond green solid-state laser, with a 10m fiber transmission efficiency of 99.4% and stable operation for 100 hours.
