SOYBEAN VARIETY RESEARCH IN THE FOREST-STEPPE ZONE
For the first time, field studies were conducted on the variety study of cultivated soybeans in the forest-steppe zone of Tuva. The article presents the following detailed analyses: according to the phases of growth and development of different soybean varieties, a structural analysis and a comparative assessment of productivity were carried out, as well as economic efficiency was calculated. The results of the conducted studies showed that the growing season of different varieties of soybeans varied from 94 to 105 days. The Barguzin variety turned out to be the earliest maturing of the studied cultivars, the growing season was 96 days, the difference from the standard is 2 days. The Sculptor variety turned out to be the most late–maturing, its vegetation period is 105 days, the difference from the standard is 11 days. The maximum yield was obtained from the following varieties: Barguzin amounted to 7.8 c/ha, an increase of 1.6 c/ha), Sayana – 7.4 c/ha, an increase of 1.2 c/ha, Zaryanitsa – 7.1 c/ha, an increase of 0.9 c/ha. The Sculptor variety turned out to be the least productive, deviating from the standard by 0.1 c/ha. High profitability was obtained from the Barguzin variety – 98%. All the studied soybean varieties belong to the middle-early ripening group.
