Rear Collision Monitoring with Alerting System

Rear-Collision with Alerting System end collisions are a major cause of road accidents and often result in severe damage and injuries.This paper proposes a low-cost "Rear Collision Monitoring with Alerting System" to detect approaching vehicles from the rear side and provide timely warnings to the driver.The system uses ultrasonic sensors for distance measurement, a microcontroller for processing, and alert mechanisms through buzzer and LED indicators.The developed prototype successfully detects obstacles within a range of 2-4 meters and generates appropriate alerts.The system offers an affordable and efficient solution to improve vehicle safety and reduce the chances of accidents.
