A Triad for Enhanced Cybersecurity using Honeywords, Keystroke Dynamics, and Fuzzy Logic Membership Functions
The described paper investigates an integrated approach to addressing critical cybersecurity challenges through honeywords, keystroke dynamics, and fuzzy logic. Honeywords function as decoy passwords to mislead attackers and trigger alerts upon unauthorized use. Keystroke dynamics add a biometric layer by analyzing typing patterns, while fuzzy logic enhances intrusion detection by handling uncertainty in behavior. This integrated system significantly improves detection accuracy, reduces false positives, and adapts to evolving threats. The study shows the potential of this multi-layered security model in mitigating unauthorized access and enhancing system resilience.
