Advanced Risk Prioritization in Supply Chain Management Using Fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS

The global market today compels businesses to implement effective supply chain management for success and managing supply chain risks plays a crucial role in achieving this objective. This paper investigates the novel integration of Fuzzy AHP to assess and rank key supply chain risk criteria, and Fuzzy TOPSIS to prioritize critical risk mitigation strategies based on these criteria. Unlike conventional risk assessment models that rely on crisp values, our approach combines these complementary fuzzy techniques to handle the inherent uncertainty in supply chain risk assessment more comprehensively. This combination provides a strong framework for managing and mitigating potential disruptions, strengthening decision-making processes, by providing a more adaptive and structured methodology.
