This study reviews empirical evidence on the effectiveness of coaching, focusing on physician coaching aimed at leadership development. Findings from meta-analyses highlight positive outcomes, such as psychological well-being, resilience, job satisfaction, and professional performance. Physician coaching, particularly in leadership, demonstrates substantial benefits in mitigating burnout, fostering resilience, and improving quality of care.
