NING AN EXTENDED-SPECTRUM ADDITIVE FOR OIL PUMPING
In the article, the authors raise the problem of pipeline transportation of low-viscosity and paraffinic oils. Experiments have been conducted to obtain a composite additive with anti-turbulent properties for use in transportation of low-viscosity and paraffin oil, which includes a polyolefin polymer based on 1-hexene, oleic acid butyl ether, fusel oil and diesel fuel (boiling point 240- 360 °C). It is shown that the addition of fusel oil to the above composition (at specified concentrations) leads to a decrease in the hydraulic resistance of the liquid flow during pipeline transport. The use of a composite anti-turbulent additive (CATA) makes it possible, at a dosage of 0.06-0.08% for oil, to achieve the efficiency and stability of the oil system during its transportation through the pipeline for 8-10 days. The dependences showing the dynamics of the accumulation of asphaltresin-paraffin deposits in the presence of CATA are given. It has been established that the addition of CATA to paraffin oil helps to reduce the deposits of paraffin compounds on the cold rod. The data and dependencies obtained by the authors show that the developed additive has an extended spectrum of action and, after appropriate extensive tests, can be recommended for use in pipeline transport as an additive to low-viscosity and paraffin oil.
