Results. The collected testimonies of respondents confirm the use of wall paintings, decorative fabrics, carpets, tapestries, towels in the dwellings of peasants. Since local artists and art and industrial complexes played a leading role, rural interiors began to be decorated using modern and new materials, preserving ethnic motifs. Conclusions.
