A Bibliometric Analysis of SDG 15-Life on Land
Sustainable Development Goal 15 (SDG 15) focuses on promoting sustainable practices in terrestrial ecosystems, reducing desertification, and conserving biodiversity. This study employs a bibliometric analysis to assess research trends related to SDG 15, utilizing data from reputable scientific databases. Important metrics including co-occurrence of texts, authorship patterns, citation analysis, and publication trends were analyzed using tools like VOSviewer and Bibliometrix. Results indicate a significant increase in scholarly attention to SDG 15, with China, the UK, India, and the US leading research contributions. The study highlights the role of interdisciplinary collaboration, technology integration, and policy interventions in achieving SDG 15 objectives. Findings suggest the need for global cooperation, particularly in biodiversity-rich regions, to strengthen conservation efforts. This research contributes to understanding the evolving landscape of SDG 15 studies and underscores the importance of evidence-based policymaking in sustainable land management.
