In this article, I frame the search for my roots and my family's past through cinema; in faith that the interactions of memory and imagination in viewing movies generally evince interpretations of our lives, and our world, through subjectivities which may be constitutive or restorative in nature. Or in this instance, fall within its abstruse intersections, in being reconstructive of an unencountered past.
