Polynucleotides Versus Platelet-Rich Plasma for Androgenetic Alopecia: A Case Series

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most common form of hair loss in men and has a significant psychosocial impact. Among injectable therapies, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and polynucleotides (PN HPT™) have gained interest for their regenerative properties, though direct comparisons are limited. This case series evaluated the safety, tolerability, and clinical outcomes of PN HPT™ (Plinest Hair) versus PRP in 11 male patients with AGA, each receiving both treatments on opposite sides of the scalp. All patients showed improvements in hair density and quality, with comparable results between PN HPT™ and PRP, maintained at 3- and 6-month follow-ups. Both treatments were well tolerated, with no significant adverse events. While PRP is well established, its varia
