Desarrollo de la Educación Secundaria en Sinaloa: un Análisis del Siglo XX
The development of secondary education in Sinaloa, Mexico, during the 20th century involves significant changes in educational policy, coverage expansion, and educational quality. During the 20th century, Mexico experienced important changes in its educational system, with an emphasis on expanding basic education and creating programs to improve teaching quality. Sinaloa, as a state in northwest Mexico, participated in these changes and adaptations within its educational system. The development of secondary education in Sinaloa was consolidated as part of the educational system in the first half of the 20th century. In Sinaloa, the expansion of secondary education was likely influenced by federal and state policies aimed at increasing educational coverage in both urban and rural areas. Teacher training and the implementation of curricula were key aspects in the development of secondary education. During the 20th century, education in Mexico and in Sinaloa faced challenges such as limited coverage in rural areas, the need to improve teacher training, and adaptation to social and economic changes. Secondary education in Sinaloa, as in other parts of Mexico, sought to balance the expansion of coverage with improvements in educational quality.
